Richmond Appleton has amassed over nine years of experience in the rapidly evolving field of health IT. As an innovator, he specializes in electronic medical records, telehealth systems, and data analytics, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in healthcare technology. At UbuntuMinds, Inc., Richmond leverages his technical expertise to broaden outreach through technology, enhance personalized care, and support mental health campaigns. His strategic use of data-driven solutions not only streamlines the organization’s operations but also provides meaningful metrics to continually improve our services.
Mental health is one of the most critical health issues of our time. UbuntuMinds mental health awareness program is doing important work to address this issue. The program provides information and resources about mental health, and it works to reduce the stigma associated with mental illness. UbuntuMinds also offers support groups and other services to help people who are struggling with mental health challenges.

Terrance Dwayne Hunter

Terrance Dwayne Hunter is a master trainer, esteemed author, community activist, and the founder of the nonprofit organization, Empowering the Fatherless. Honored with the 2022 Outstanding Philanthropist and Volunteer Award by the Morgan Hill Community Foundation, Terrance is resourceful in creating educational programs and workshops designed for at-risk youths and families. His ability to bridge gaps in community resources and family dynamics provides UbuntuMinds, Inc. with a multi-faceted approach to mental health, touching on both preventive and remedial strategies. His methods often include motivational speaking, hands-on training sessions, and ongoing mentorship programs that align with UbuntuMinds, Inc.’s overall mission.

Terrance is the author of his autobiography, My 30 Years With the California Department of Corrections: Thirty Years of Incarceration Led to His Miraculous Transformation. He is the recipient of the Morgan Hill Community Foundation 2022 Outstanding Philanthropist and Volunteer Award, for his community activism in Santa Clara County.

Terrance is currently transforming the lives of residents at the Elmwood Correctional Complex, youth at the Silicon Valley Boys and Girls Club, and students attending Morgan Hill High School.

Arnold Fosah

Arnold Fosah is a seasoned Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s degree from the University of California, San Francisco. His focus extends beyond traditional psychiatric care, encompassing trauma-informed treatments such as somatic processing and EMDR, as well as couples coaching. His professional reach has included partnerships with government, private, and non-profit organizations, where he teaches, coaches, and provides mental health services. Arnold’s integrative approach, which includes an emphasis on spirituality and mindfulness, provides UbuntuMinds, Inc. with a nuanced, comprehensive, and balanced mental health strategy.

Mr. Fosah is a psychiatric provider at the Santa Clara County Adult Custody Department. He also practices privately and has partnered with non-profit organizations such as Unity Care Group, Ujima Mental Health Clinics, Empowering the Fatherless, Relate 20/20, and NAMI to teach, coach, and provide mental health services in the community. His interests include mental health advocacy, education, and treatment of mental illness with a focus on trauma and stress-related mental health disorders. Mr. Fosah is learning more about the importance of spirituality to our mental health. He has taught classes on psychiatric and behavioral approaches for the treatment of vulnerable populations, management of stress and anxiety, mindfulness, and the effects of adverse childhood experiences.

He is also the advanced practice student liaison for Santa Clara Valley Medical Center. Mr. Fosah is committed to mental wellness and is dedicated to helping people live fulfilling lives.

Mr. Fosah is thankful to his wife, three children, as well as family and friends who keep him grounded. During his leisure time, he often can be found spending time with family or exercising outdoors.
